Late summer sun

We are out in the gardens again in the beautiful late summer light. This little girl is nearly finished, her leather Mary Janes are soaking and stretching and will be ready tomorrow, but everything else is done.

More tiny tailoring with the Put a Bow on it coat, lined in one of the new cotton prints  I got for a splash of colour.

The reversible Storybook Woods bonnet matches both her dungarees and her dress, it’s such a versatile piece of clothing!

She says she loves the lace on her dress and the extra embroidery I did around the neck.

Little sister

Ottilie’s little sister is coming to life, she has brown eyes like her big sister and the same white blond hair, but curls, this girls has some lovely curls. Here she is modelling her Meadowfinch dungarees (the most used pattern I have).

I have also made her a little cotton cardigan in yellow ochre, it’s more to match her dress but that isn’t made yet! Pattern is a free by Pixie Purls.

I’ve also added to my fabric stash, I know, I didn’t need to, but it’s always good having choices for these girls and boys.
